DuPont Montelli is a decorative surface material suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial interior applications. As a composite material, DuPont Montelli is manufactured under strict quality control standards using a continuous casting process. Because the material is non-porous and appears seamless, spilled liquids and stains cannot penetrate the surface under normal conditions.
As a result, DuPont Montelli is resistant to many types of chemicals. Common stains frequently encountered in kitchens and bathrooms—such as vinegar, coffee, tea, lemon juice, paint, ketchup, and red wine—can be removed using a mild detergent and a scouring sponge, followed by rinsing thoroughly with plenty of water.
Composition and Materials
The DuPont Montelli Basic formulation contains aluminum mineral fillers combined with a resin blend.
Fabrication and Installation
DuPont Montelli can be cut to size, milled, seamlessly joined, and sanded. Similar to DuPont Corian, it is fabricated and installed in accordance with European technical guidelines recognized for solid surface materials.
